Who is Joe Blomfield?
Hi there! I’m a Welsh film-maker based in Cardiff and like most film-makers, I’m passionate about telling stories. We all have stories to tell; an experience, a struggle, a creation. People can be persuaded by a well-told story - to travel somewhere, experience a product or even fall in love with a new home. Brands & corporations can be given personalities to engage with their audience. I love to tell these stories using film and music.
Music - that’s my other passion. I studied music at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where my focus switched from playing music to producing audio and video. Since joining that world I’ve filmed some incredible artists including Catrin Finch & Seckou Keita, the London Tango Quintet and NEW Sinfonia.
I also love to travel, when I can, throughout the UK and beyond. I take landscape photography and some of my photos are available to buy as limited edition prints here.

It’s surprising how easily great visuals can be rendered ineffective when corners are cut in the audio. Joe is an experienced recording engineer with over seven years in the profession. We’ll deliver crystal clear audio for anything from an interview to a 100-piece orchestra and everything in-between.
